My name is Mandie Luscombe. I am 25 years old and I have always had a creative drive throughout my life. I have never found a creative outlet that I have quite enjoyed so much until I started painting. I have dabled in scrapbooking, wood working, quilting, and alot of other crafty things but nothing has been as satisfying as painting!

 

It all started when I was working in a pipe cutting shop and we had to color code the ends of the pipe with spray paint so we knew what kind and grade the material was. During the slow days I would grab a piece of cardboard and a couple cans of spray paint and just let my imagination run wild!

 

I have learned alot since then and each day I seem to learn new tricks and techniques. My painting style is generally abstract, and my mediums include acrylic, spray paint, and airbrush. I use a lot of random objects and materials to create my works. Anything from steel grates, to toilet paper rolls, to lids from containers. I am still learning and so excited to see where I will be in a year from now, or ten years from now!
